Jimmy Brennecke, Musician and College Professor

Throughout his years of experience as a technologist, educator, musician, business manager, consultant, sponsor, and LifeQuest staffer, Jimmy has always had a strong passion for helping people acquire new skills and learn to use various tools to make their lives better. Whether advising companies on the development of information systems, teaching classes on various skills to master computers and technology, or helping workshop participants develop and use new interpersonal skills, his desire has always been to empower people for success. His greatest joy comes from helping people “turn on the lights,” and gain new skills and understanding of how their world works.

For Jimmy, technology and music (and love, of course) make the world go around. When he’s not teaching Business/MIS classes at the University of La Verne, or assisting clients with his private IT consulting business, he’s rocking the house as drummer/vocalist in his Classic Rock cover band, and staffing/deejaying the LightQuest workshops. A musician for over 40 years, Jimmy also holds an undergraduate business degree from UC Riverside, and an MBA with emphasis in Information Technology from University of La Verne
